This chest was built for a customer who has a large collection of blankets and quilts. She asked that we not use plastics because they can damage the materials over time. She wanted something sturdy that would last her for many years to come. This chest was a project that took some time but, in the end, came out amazing. The chest’s outer wood is cherry while the inside wood is cedar, the frame is hand welded iron, the handles and hand forged and twisted iron.
